Christi & Family Photo Shoot

We have walked a journey with Christi and her family – we had a fun shoot with them at Noordhoek Common last year as well as a maternity shoot a bit later.

Then recently Christi approached us to do a beach shoot in kommetjie. So we managed to have a beautiful day in the lovely little village of Kommetjie! We took photos down by the Lighthouse, which is a popular spot for families to gather and enjoy the scenery.

It was wonderful to see how this family has grown in more ways than one. Big thank you Christi for choosing us to be your photographers.

Our prayer for you is that you celebrate life to the fullest and that God may grant you many happy, joyful and peaceful times together as a family!

Also special thanks to my assistant Mikki.

Karen & Family Photo Shoot

We were so happy when Karen approached us to put together a couple of images for them as a family – we knew we were going to be in for a fun day.

The opted for Kommetjie and we managed to capture a few around the Lighthouse and on the pathway with the breathtaking view of the ocean.

Thank you Karen! It was such a privilege to work with your family.

May God bind you together in love and keep you safe all the days of your lives!

The life as a photographer – pure joy!

BIG thanks to my assistant Mikki.

Christine & Family Photo Shoot

A couple of weeks ago we headed off to Kommetjie to take photos of this beautiful family! It was a bit of a cold day, but none the less we had such fun snapping away merrily.

We were so happy that grandma and grandpa could join for the special day and we could tell the grandchildren truly enjoyed having them there for some memories to be made.

Thank you Christine for arranging this!

We hope the images tell the story!

Family Shoot – Borchards Family

A family
is made of love and tears,
laughter and years.
It grows stronger
with the passing of time.
More precious
with the making of memories.

sometimes a family is made of ones
you don’t like for a while…..
But you love for a life time.
It’s a gift whose value is found
Not in numbers but in its capacity
to love.

It’s the place you find
someone to encourage you.
believe in you.
Celebrate with you and comfort you.
A family is where your heart
feels most at home because you’re
Always wanted, always welcomed,
Always needed,
Always Loved.

Maternity Shoot with Christi, Jean and Emily

It was a great privilege to take photos of this beautiful family a second time round. The first time was at Noordhoek Common.

This evening turned out to be a picture perfect evening with no wind. Big thank you to Christi for the opportunity – you have such a beautiful family.

I cannot wait to meet little Caleb. May he bring you much joy, happiness and blessings.

Family Photo Shoot – Fish Family

I was approached by Kathy a few months back about doing a family shoot for them and the mere thought of this, made me want to jump for joy – you see, their home can be found in the heart of Noordhoek;  there is a forest in their back garden!  One of the most  picturesque – a fairy-tale come to life, a child’s paradise!

Their home welcomes you in, with lush trees and meandering pathways, which take you down to the river – yes a river runs through it!  Did I mention, there is a special corner with prized Bonsai, loving cared for by Gavin! The House at Pooh Corner, is also run by Kathy as a guesthouse and many a happy guest has left with a feeling of serenity – many have returned wanting more. Their home lends a feeling of an era long gone by – life is so rushed, stepping into their garden, is the best kind of therapy.

My assistant Mikki and I, enjoyed every minute of our time spent with this lovely family.  Our hearts witnessed the love and joy shared between each of them. The family have a natural gift to accept you and make you feel, like part of their family. May God bless you and your home!

It was a relaxing and refreshing time for both of us and we hadn’t even booked in for a night lol ! Thank you Gavin, Kathy, Ben and Jenna.

I hope you enjoy scrolling through the photos, thank you for reading my blog!
