Newborn Photo Shoot – Gary Anthony Sutton

Just over a week ago, Mikki and I had a photo shoot with Penny and her family. We were welcomed in warmly and made to feel comfortable. What truly touched me, was the unity between Penny, her husband and the two older brothers. The bond is visible and was felt so strongly by us. Mikki and I happily fitted in with the family and enjoyed every minute of the afternoon. I must commend Penny on being such a gentle mommy – motherhood definitely becomes her. We wish you a wonderful life as a family and especially with little Gary being the latest addition to the family – may God have His hand on all you do.

Lord look down from Heaven above

and touch this special child with love

Protect and guide this little one

till each and every day is done

Remind us often that it’s true

this little life is a gift from you

Derek – brother to Ella Jane

Thank you to mom Nicole for the opportunity to take photos of her little prince. It was so easy, as Derek is a natural.

God made a world out of his dreams,
Of wondrous mountains, oceans and streams,
Prairies and plains and wooded land,
Then paused and thought,
“I need someone to stand on top of the mountains
To conquer the seas, explore the plains and
Climb the trees, someone to start small and grow,
Sturdy, strong like a tree.” and so…
He created boys, full of spirit and fun,
To explore and conquer, to romp and run,
With dirty faces, banged up chins
With courageous hearts and boyish grins.

Maternity Shoot – Sonja

A bit more than a month ago my assistant Mikki and I had a maternity shoot with the lovely Sonja at Noordhoek Common – what fun!

 

Sonja and Riaan were expecting their second little one – a boy! It was such a privilege to spend the time with her!

Wedding of Alistair and Lindsay

The  10 April 2016 was a day destined for Alistair and Lindsay to get married.  From the beauty surrounding us all, to the picture perfect day, everything flowed so magically.

Loans Family Shoot

When I was approached recently to do a family shoot for Nikki and her family, I was tickled pink. It was to be my very first family photo shoot………… eeek!  Excitement and butterflies filled me. When the day finally dawned, my assistant and I headed out to Noordhoek Common, to meet the family.

From the minute they arrived, I felt  peace wash over me. The family has such a warm, gentle spirit and they are such naturals when it comes to photography and it was a breeze.

Thank you Nikki for the wonderful opportunity – you are a blessed woman. May God watch over your family and may He lead and guide you always.

Baby Yohlaka

About a month ago, a beautiful boy and his mom paid me a visit.  It was such a fun morning getting to know mommy, as well as Yohlaka. I feel truly blessed to have met them both. May you be blessed as a family and may God lead  and keep you in His perfect care.

Once, a four year old boy asked his mother if God is real and if so why wasn’t he able to see Him anywhere. The mother replied that we cannot see God but we can feel him all around us, in trees, in animals in the air…just like love which we can’t see but it’s there. The little boy said: Mommy you are wrong. I Do see love. The mother asked: where can you see love my son? Mommy.. I can see love in your eyes…

Baby Ben

I was truly privileged to do a photo shoot of little Ben – baby of Tim and Amy Keller. It was such a pleasure, as Ben is one of the easiest little guys I have ever seen. Lovely mom Amy must have a special touch, but come to think of it, Amy is a teacher – so she has been blessed with a natural gift when it comes to children. I wish your family every blessing  for the years to come.
