The sun peeked through the clouds, despite  the cold weather on Monday. As I headed off to Imhoff’s Gift to do a photo shoot for Carrie and her gorgeous horse, Fury, I felt a little nervous at the thought of coming face to face with a horse – see, this would be my first  ‘up close and personal’ experience with a horse.

It was such a treat to watch Carrie and Fury – I felt as if I was watching secrets being shared between horse and rider that only they were privy too. Carrie has such a great love for horses and it was written all over her face – in her mannerisms,  her patience, kindness, love and care was visible in all her movements and Fury lapped it up.

Thank you Carrie, for a delightful afternoon. Not only did I enjoy every minute of the photo shoot, but it gave me courage to face my own fear and overcome it.
